Jord Watches for the Holidays

Hello Friends!

I am feeling very generous this Holiday Season so I wanted to share some extra savings on one of my favorite gifts this year! I am so excited about my collaboration with JORD Watches. I saw some of my favorite bloggers wearing them and I thought the wooden detail really made them stand out from any other watches I had seen. I felt so grateful when JORD reached out to me and I was even more thrilled when they let me do a joint collab with my husband!

When we received our watches they were packaged in these gorgeous wooden boxes. As soon as I opened mine, I couldn't get over how stunning it was! I received the Cassia Walnut & Vintage Rose Gold Watch, which seriously goes with everything! I love the large face with the dainty band and rose gold accents, it really is one of a kind.

The Details:

MATERIALS & FINISH
• 100% natural, hand-finished woods
• Metallic dial with contrasting accent
• Domed Sapphire crystal glass
• Citizen Miyota quartz movement (GL20)
• Ultra-slim design with interlaced wood
and metal links
• Deployment buckle with push button

My husband went with the Hyde Walnut & Black series and he has gotten so many compliments on it already! It's so different from any men's watches that are currently out there. We were recently out of town for a wedding, and so many of his friends he hadn't seen in a while kept commenting and asking where he had gotten his watch. Anthony is a typically blogger husband, not big on attention or being in front of the camera, but he was quick to tell them about his new JORD watch and how much he likes changing it up from the typical everyday metal watches that are out there.

The Details:

MATERIALS & FINISH
• 100% natural, hand-finished woods
• Metallic dial with contrasting accent
• Sapphire crystal glass
• Citizen Miyota quartz movement (GL30)
• Ultra-slim design
• Deployment buckle with push button

If you are looking for the perfect Holiday gift for Him or Her then look no further. One of my other favorite features about these watches is that they offer personalized engraving! Mine says "tippyjane" on the back and it makes my watch so special with a personal touch!

Black Friday Gift Guide

Hello Friends!

I know this is a little last minute, but I wanted to put together a quick Black Friday/Cyber Monday gift guide for those of you who are planning on getting your holiday shopping done, while taking advantage of some great deals! Most of these items are gifts "For Her" so ladies if you see something you like, feel free to leave a comment and tag your Mr. so they know what you have your eye on.

I feel like Black Friday has come a long way in recent years. I remember when the only place we would go to get a deal after Thanksgiving was Walmart! I will never forget standing in long lines waiting for a pallet of Tupperware to be cut open (those were the days). It's so nice to see clothing retailers and smaller boutiques jumping on the Black Friday train; I mean who doesn't want 50% off sweaters, booties, makeup, etc?....Gift giving is so much easier to justify when you are saving money! I've rounded up a few things that caught my eye as well as some promo codes to some of my favorite websites. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving, and happy SAVINGS!!

Skirts For The Holidays

Hello Friends!

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I wanted to share my outfit from this weekends Fashion show I attended with two of my blogger friends! I never realized how big the Fashion scene was here in Denver, but so far I've been blown away from the shows I've been lucky enough to attend. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to wear to DFW (Denver Fashion Weekend); I typically stick to a jumpsuit as my go-to look, but when I saw this gold velvet skirt, I knew it was the one! Since this skirt was so bold, I opted for a plain black bodysuit with a flowy sleeve to finish off the look. This skirt is so versatile and looks great with black strappy heels or booties. I picked these pearl studded Kelly & Katie heels up at DSW last week on sale for only $29! If you are stuck on what to wear to your upcoming Holiday party or Winter wedding, I definitely recommend adding a fun midi skirt to your wardrobe!

I've linked a few of my favorites below, so scroll down to get shopping!

Massiff Fashion Week

Things have moved so quickly ever since we relocated to Denver just a short 2 months ago. I would have never dreamed that in that period of time I would have met so many amazing people who have helped my blogging career grow. I was lucky enough to be introduced to Ingjin San, who is a very talented up and coming designer here in Denver. When she reached out to me about attending Massiff Fashion Week I was so flattered. I wasn't sure exactly what to expect, but I was very excited to get more involved in the Denver Fashion scene.

Night one, was the designer presentations showcase. This is exactly what is sounds like; the entire weeks designers were there to show one sneak peek piece from their collection. I immediately spotted Ingjin's design, her chic white and gold textures stuck out to me right away. I was so excited to see her designs up close and also chat with her more about the collection. After walking around and seeing all the designers pieces I was feeling so inspired! I have a huge respect for designers and their creative minds. I also have a new found respect for models after seeing them stand on a pedestal under a beaming light for hours without moving or cracking a smile....that's talent!

Friday was day 3 of the show and Ingjins big debut! My sweet friend Meg came with me to the show and we were seated in the front row, which gave us an up close look as each of the designs came down the runway. Ingjins designs closed the show and seriously blew me away! Her pieces featured the most stunning white, gold, and black fabric and each design had it's own flair. My favorite would have to be one of the last dresses, which featured a stunning train with a tie detail that when pulled, the entire outfit transformed into a sexy black and gold mini dress; it was such a show stopper!!

I had the best time at Massiff Fashion Week and have nothing but positive things to say about the quaint venue, the talented designers and the quality of the show. If you get the chance to go next year I highly recommend attending and experience it for yourself! Also if your not already, go follow @ingjinsan on Instagram to follow her journey in the world of fashion!

Back to Work!

I'm back peeps!!

Sorry for the lack of posting lately; I started my new job last week so things have been a little crazy! I really wanted to make sure I was devoting my full attention to my new role and I'm so thrilled to be the new Group Marketing Manager for Cardinal Group Management and also for this exciting chapter in my career!

I was so thankful for the month off I had for our transition to Denver, but to be honest I've had a job my entire life so I didn't know what to do with my time off! I think I was going stir crazy after week one. I had everything unpacked and had met so many new blogger friends, but at the end of the day I knew I was ready to get back to work. I'm not going to lie, I went through so many emotions in that month, I must have applied for 80 jobs, and when you don't hear back you start feeling worthless! A few more weeks passed, and after lots of interviews and prayers the right opportunity came my way and I couldn't be more grateful.

Okay enough about work, let's talk talk about what is slightly more important...outfit details! I am lucky enough to work in a corporate office where the attire is business casual, so to me that means dark denim and cute blazers. I feel like a good blazer should be in everyone's closet, they are so easy to dress up for a meeting or down using your favorite graphic tee and jeans. My favorite part about this look is how affordable all the pieces are.

I've linked everything below so scroll down to shop!

I hope everyone has a great week!
