2019 New Years Resolutions

I can't believe how quickly a year goes by. It seems like just yesterday we were packing our bags and moving to Denver, and now we have been here for a year and 4 months and I couldn't be more in love with this City and all the opportunities it has brought me. Just like everyone I look at Jan. 1 as a fresh start and a chance to reflect on life and decide what I would like to change or experience in the new  year. I am fully aware that you can start a resolution at any time in your life but for some reason the 1st of January is motivating and for people like me who need an extra kick in the butt, it just works!

This year I wanted to do things differently and actually write out my resolutions to help hold myself accountable. I'm excited to look back at my goals at the end of the year and hopefully check some boxes off with the things I've accomplished. I would love to hear what some of your resolutions are if you would leave a comment below! Also, feel free to steal some of mine and use as your own for 2019!

Looking forward to another amazing year, and thank you all for following along on my journey!

  • Get organized and make blogging a higher priority. (This can be hard when you have a 9-5 job but I am focused on allocating my time to ensure I'm able to produce solid content in 2019)
  • Take one day a week off of social media (This will be tough, but also very necessary to keep a good work/life balance, and disconnecting feels so good sometimes)
  • Publish a blog post at least once a week (I need you guys to hold me accountable for this! Let me know what you want to see more of)
  • Read at least 10 books (I know this seems small but finding time to read has always been a struggle for me. Send your book recommendations my way)
  • Eat healthy 4 days a week (Because I know myself and 5 days a week is not realistic for me)
  • Focus more on my skincare routine (I'm not getting any younger, so taking care of my skin is super important...I want to be a hot mom lol)
  • Stop comparing myself to other bloggers (This is something I struggle with off and on and need to remember to surround myself with ladies who build me up instead of those who see blogging as a competition...there are plenty of brands to go around babes)
  • Grow my relationship with GOD! (This is the most important item on my resolution list! I'm excited to find a church family this year and make my connection with God stronger)
  •  Spend Less, Save More-(This is obviously easier said than done, but my husband and I would like to buy a house and start a family in 2019 so cutting back on my shopping budget to make room for more important things is a must)

I hope you guys have a safe and happy New Year! I can't wait to see what 2019 has in store!
